Vitamins For Black Hair Growth

Hair growth begins on the inside. It stands to reason that if you are healthy on the inside, then your hair, which begins on the inside, will be healthier as it grows out of your hair follicles. For hair to be healthy, your hair follicles have to get the nutrition that they need. To do this you should make sure that you eat a balanced diet (one that contains fruits, vegetables, and lots of whole grains like brown rice), drink lots of water, and take nutritional supplements as needed. 

It is important that if you want to begin taking vitamins, you do some research first. One book I recommend is Prescription for Nutritional Healing by Phyllis A Balch. While I don't agree with everything in this book, I appreciate the author's detailed information about vitamins and minerals and what they do for you, as well as the section in the front that details recommended dosages.
